Joint Forces in Parylene
Curtiss-Wright is an NYSE listed $2.3 billion dollar company providing highly engineered products and services worldwide.
Curtiss-Wright Parylene Services is the largest U.S. owned Parylene coating provider and proprietary dimer supplier.
Our Parylene organization combines the synergy and expertise of two successful Parylene companies:
Parylene Coating Services (PCS) was established in 1991 with the founding members’ expertise extending back as part of Union Carbide's development team who commercialized Parylene over 50 years ago. PCS was acquired by the Surface Technologies Division of Curtiss-Wright in 2008.
Para Tech Coating (PTC) was established in 1968 and contributes a wealth of expertise in coating high reliability electronics and patented coating machinery and processes. Para Tech Coating was acquired by Curtiss-Wright in early 2017.
Our facilities in the US and Europe are ISO9001 and AS9100C certified, NASA 8739.1 registered and ITAR compliant. Dimer materials have the high quality confirmed by third party labs and FDA.
Our Parylene coatings are used in highly engineered applications where environmental protection and dry film lubrication is needed. Any substrate stable in a vacuum environment is suitable for Parylene coating. Common substrates included elastomers, plastic, metals and electronics in Medical, Aerospace, Defense and general industrial applications.
