Para
Tech Coating, Inc. was founded in 1968 and
is headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California. The company
maintains an East Coast coating center in Middletown,
CT, and joint ventures in Korea, Sweden, China, and
the United Kingdom.
PTC was licensed
by Union Carbide Corporation in 1968 to commercialize
Parylene coating services, and company founder Jeffrey
Stewart holds eight patents that optimize the performance,
consistency and reliability of the Parylene vacuum deposition
process. These technical refinements have been important
to PTC's ongoing success as a provider of fast response
Parylene coating services and productive coating equipment.
These important technical resources are focused on the
needs of our customers by a staff of skilled, imaginative
and dedicated people, giving PTC an unmatched
leadership advantage in the dynamic and challenging
world of conformal coating. As an independent, privately-held
company PTC is uniquely equipped to focus on customer
requirement, respond quickly, and deliver effective
solutions and services.
The
PTC Mission Statement

The
PTC Quality Policy
In a
culture of continuous improvement, PTC strives to
achieve 100% conformance to customer specifications, zero
defects in all operations of the company and to meet or
exceed expectations on time, every time.
SPC
and SQC
PTC coating equipment measures and collects process
data for SPC records and metrics used to measure, analyze
and improve process operations. This data can be combined
with system controls to fine tune coating system pressure
and temperature values in real time by means of SQC.
Medical Applications
PTC raw materials (Parylenes N and C) comply with USP biological testing requirements
for Class VI Plastics. PTC coatings have been successfully tested on medical devices by several customers.
